Toyota has released current model of Yaris back in 2010. New model was introduced as 2018 Toyota Yaris and it has almost the same design as previous version. Future 2018 Yaris will use same engine as before and it will get slightly revised exterior and interior. Toyota will again offer identical trim levels as on previous Yaris. This includes base L trim, mid-range LE and top of the range SE model. Speaking of exterior design, front end was inspired by new Toyota Prius. Upper grille is now gone, while lower grille remain same as before. Headlights were refreshed and fog lights will now come with new surround inserts. Vertical daytime running lights were also installed. Rear end comes with new roof spoiler and extended taillights. Inside the cabin, 2018 Yaris will get only minor changes and improvements. Yaris L version will get 6.1-inch infotainment display, while 7-inch display will be available in higher trim levels.

2018 Toyota Yaris engine will be called over from the current model. We are talking about 1.5-liter naturally aspirated engine generating 106 horsepower and 103 lb-ft of torque. Base L version will have front-wheel drive and 5-speed manual transmission. LE and SE trims will get old 4-speed automatic gearbox. Some rumors indicate that new Yaris could also get 1.2-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine as well. However, this is still unconfirmed by the Toyota officials. 2018 Toyota Yaris fuel economy specs are still unavailable.
