This new Cayenne will be based on all-new platform and it will be powered by range of new engines. Using this platform will enable Porsche to save between 200 and 300 pounds of weight in their new models. Speaking of dimension, upcoming Cayenne looks like it has the same wheelbase length and width compared to current version. New 2018 Cayenne design will be more aggressive than before. Up front, it should get new bumper, wider fenders and new headlights. At the back, we could have seen design almost identical to Macan model. Base model will be powered by 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged V6 unit delivering between 350 and 420 horsepower. 2018 Cayenne Turbo and Turbo S engine will be new 4.0-liter V8 twin-turbocharged powertrain. This strong and powerful V8 engine is capable of producing 550 horsepower in Panamera, but it will be definitely tuned to produce more in Cayenne. Engines should be mated to 8-speed dual-clutch transmission.
