After releasing Lexus LC 500 coupe at the 2016 Detroit Auto Show, rumor has it that we could get high-performance version as well. We are talking about upcoming 2018 Lexus LC-F. It still hasn’t been officially confirmed by Lexus, but speculations are getting interesting. It is expected to get new more aggressive body kit, along with revised front fascia. This includes bigger intakes, redesigned splitters and engine hood.
Generally, its size and shape will remain almost the same as LC 500 model. We could also expect to see bigger spoiler, revised exhaust pipes, new diffuser, lighter wheels and bigger brake disks. Inside the cabin, it will look like sportier version of LC 500 version. This features bespoke instrument cluster, flat-bottom steering wheel, carbon-fiber and aluminum inserts, improved infotainment system and leather and Alcantara details.
2018 Lexus LC-F engine performance specs
2018 Lexus LC-F engine under the hood should be 5.0-liter V8 unit. This tuned up V8 engine will be capable of producing 600 horsepower and 450 lb-ft of torque. Engine should also get new dual-clutch transmission. Considering that future Lexus LC-F will get improved suspension, bigger brakes and upgraded engine, it is safe to assume it will have much better performance. Acceleration from 0 to 60 mph will be set in less than 4 seconds.
2018 Lexus LC-F release date and price
2018 Lexus LC-F price is still unavailable at the moment, but it is possible that starting price will be set at $150,000. Main competitor on the market will be Porsche 911 Turbo. 2018 Lexus LC-F release date is still a mystery, but it is expecting to hit the market by the end of 2017.
