Current Compass crossover has been around for 10 years now and the time has finally come for new version. Upcoming 2018 Jeep Compass will still be positioned between Cherokee and Patriot in their lineup. New Compass crossover will be offered in several trim levels, such as Sport, Latitude, Limited and Trailhawk.
Design of future 2018 Compass has many details taken from other Jeep cars. This includes wheel arches from Cherokee, D-pillar from Renegade and front fascia from Grand Cherokee. Future Compass will be equipped with LED daytime running lights and HID headlights. Inside the cabin, Compass comes with TFT center display, HVAC controls, USB port and improved 8.4-inch Uconnect system. Seats are available with red contrast stitching and they are made out of two-tone leather. Other systems and features includes lane departure warning, lane keep assist, electronic parking brake, power side mirrors, start/stop system and voice controls.

Compass for U.S. market should get 1.4-liter turbo-four engine, as well as the 4-cylinder 2.4-liter engine. Both of these engines were also used in Jeep Renegade.
