Both Chevy Tahoe and Suburban are large SUV trucks with ability to accommodate up to nine passengers. New 2018 Chevrolet Tahoe, Suburban will be released on the market very soon. These two are the same size, except Suburban is 2-feet longer and it has 14-inch longer wheelbase. Both trucks will be offered in new RST (Rally Sport Truck) trim. 2018 Tahoe will also get Performance Package, which includes 10-speed automatic transmission and stronger engine. 2018 Suburban and Tahoe lineup will again consist of LS, LT and Premier trims. While Tahoe can pull up to 8,600 pounds, Suburban towing capacity is set at 8,300 pounds. 2018 Chevy Tahoe RST engine will be 6.2-liter V8 powertrain from the Escalade and it will deliver 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque. Tahoe and Suburban with RWD can do 16/23/19 mpg. Chevy Tahoe 4WD is rated at 16/22/18 mpg, while Suburban 4WD can do 15/22/18 mpg. RST trims are rated at 15/22/17 mpg with RWD and 15/20/17 with 4WD.
