New 2018 Acura RDX will be soon available on the market. We again expect to see five different trim levels: Base, AcuraWatch Plus Package, Technology Package, Technology and AcuraWatch Plus Package and top of the range Advance Package. Current model was released back in 2013, along with2016 redesign version. There will be no drastic changes compared to the 2016 model. RDX 2018 will still include “jewel-eye” design theme, LED headlights, revised rear end, new wheels and Lunar Silver and Modern Steel body colors. Inside the cabin, 2018 RDX comes with leather upholstery, heated and ventilated front seats, 10-way power driver’s seat, paddle shifter, rearview camera, dual-zone climate control, power rear liftgate, GPS navigation, remote engine start and infotainment system. Safety systems and features will include forward collision warning, autonomous emergency braking, radar-based adaptive cruise control, blind-spot alert, rear cross-traffic detection, rear-obstacle detection and lane departure alert with automatic steering correction.
2018 Acura RDX engine and fuel economy specs
2018 Acura RDX engine will be 3.5-liter V6 unit generating 270 horsepower and 252 lb-ft of torque. This V6 engine will be mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission. Acura will offer both front-wheel and all-wheel drive system. Latter is actually SH-AWD system or Super Handling All-Wheel Drive system developed by Acura. 2018 Acura RDX fuel economy will carry over from current model. Front-wheel drive RDX will do 20 mpg in the city and 28 mpg on the highway, averaging 23 mpg. RDX with front-wheel drive can go 19 mpg in the city and 27 mpg on the highway, averaging 22 mpg.

2018 Acura RDX is expected during 2017. 2018 Acura RDX price for base model is set at $36,775. AcuraWatch Plus Package sells for $38,075, while Technology Package goes for $40,475. Combination of these two costs $41,775, while top of the range 2018 RDX Advance Package price is set at $43,475.
